Central Sulawesi will be the host to two national events in 2011. Head of Culture and Tourism of Central Sulawesi Suaib Djafar said second event is the Week of Love Performances History and Tourism Ambassador.
"Stage History of Love Week later the contents of cultural tourism activities, workshops, seminars through history. Dipencar Activities during the week and in some places such as museums and other attractions," said Suaib to Kompas.com via telephone on Thursday (13/01/2011 .) The event is scheduled to be held in September 2011. In addition there will be an exhibition of cultural heritage charm of Central Sulawesi and the archipelago batik exhibitions.
Meanwhile, Suaib explained to Tourism Ambassador Selection event in 2010 in Kendari. For event 2011, Hammer became a city organizer. Tourism Ambassador finalists come from various provinces in Indonesia. According Suaib, later this youth in addition to promoting tourism, they will be equipped with various activities.
"The activities such as how loving environment, concern for the education, to clean up the coast to support the destination," he explained.
Suaib then explain the pre-eminent destinations in Central Sulawesi. Some of these destinations will be promoted heavily in 2011 until 2012.
"We are the leading destinations Togian. Starting later in the month of July there is the festival," said Suaib.
Later Togian Culture Week will be the belle of Central Sulawesi with the beauty of the underwater theme-oriented marine tourism. Suaib revealed Togian does have a charming beauty beneath the sea.
"As the Park but there is no specific specialty in the Park. In Togian have different unique marine life and coral reefs. Under the sea there is a fighter from world war that sank in there," he explained.
Besides Togian, added Suaib, other leading destinations is Lake Poso and Lore Lindu National Park.
