He said if there was no sea and fishing management arrangements, Wakatobi can be damaged. "You could at one point, questioning why tourists to Wakatobi. Because Indonesia has a coral reef area covering 70 thousand square kilometers. So the choice to see the coral reefs too much," he explained.
Therefore, he continued, Wakatobi need to maintain specific things that characterizes the Wakatobi. He says that marine tourism is not only a tool to improve the economy of local communities and local government. However, marine tourism can be a natural opportunity to recover.
